A Plain Language Guide About Ableism & Violence

SARTAC partners teamed up with the Vera Institute of Justice to make a booklet about ableism and violence. We wrote it for people with disabilities to understand ableism. Ableism may be a new word to many people. Often we hear people use academic words to describe ableism. It is important for people with disabilities to be able to explain ableism. We need to understand how it is connected to violence.
