North Carolina Self-Advocates Talk About the COVID-19 vaccine

In North Carolina, the Mecklenburg County Health Department worked with Self Advocates of Meck to hold a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic. The self-advocacy group helped promote the vaccine event for people with disabilities and their families. People were given handouts about the need for the COVID vaccine. It was a great opportunity for people to ask questions to the people from Mecklenburg County Health Department. The people from the Self-Advocate group were videotaped talking about their experience with getting the vaccine.
